Owen Lanning grew up in rural Columbia County on a small farm with sheep and horses in Huntsville, which lies in between Waitsburg and Dayton. From a young age, Owen took an interest in competitive sports. He played basketball and football from grade school through high school graduation. In sixth grade, Owen transitioned from the baseball field to the track field, a sport that stayed with him through high school and college. Owen graduated from Waitsburg High School in 2015. From there he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts at Lewis-Clark State College in 2019. He competed in Track & Field for the entirety of his collegiate career in the Decathlon as a LCSC Warrior. Owen began his career in real estate after graduation from LCSC. He has a special interest in real estate investing. When not working, Owen enjoys writing screenplays, spending time with family, and staying physically active.
